We ushered in Christmas in the atmospheric surroundings of St Cross Church, where the audience enjoyed - and joined in with - a varied collection of carols. The programme was drawn largely from the early Baroque era and there were, of course, opportunities for the audience to join in familiar carols such as Ding Dong, merrily on high, O Come all ye Faithful and While Shepherds watched.

Each year we use this concert to raise money for deserving charities and this year the retiring collection was in aid of The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. A proportion of the ticket revenue also went to The Martin Read Foundation.
