Join Southern Voices in the beautiful surroundings of Holy Trinity Church to celebrate four pillars of human existence: Hope, Faith, Life and Love.
Featuring Frank Martin’s atmospheric Mass for Double Choir, Bach's mysterious Ich lasse dich nicht and Eric Whitacre's contemplative Three Songs of Faith, we present an evening of great meaning and reflection, a celebration of new and old, light and dark, of Hope, Faith, Life and Love.
Choral Scholarship
Southern Voices is excited to announce our Choral Scholarship programme. This is an opportunity for young singers to sing with us, all expenses paid, thanks to generous sponsorship by the D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust.
We have already recruited two fine soprano scholars and are still looking to introduce one choral scholar into each of our other voice parts (ATB). Suitable candidates will be auditioned in January 2025.

2024 was a huge year for Southern Voices. It was our ruby anniversary and we have lots of special memories of some amazing music, a trip to the amazing Wells Cathedral, new singers, friends and sponsors and sold-out events.

Who are Southern Voices?
Southern Voices is an auditioned chamber choir of about 35 voices, based in Winchester, England. The choir was founded in 1984 and is now directed by Jamal Sutton. It has gained a reputation for performing challenging and original programmes to a high standard.
