Choral Scholars
Our Choral Scholarship Programme offers local, talented students the chance to join us for an academic year, with all expenses being covered by the choir.
We welcome three young singers this term, direct from Winchester Cathedral Girls Choir. They join our fabulous tenor, who has already sung a concert with us last term, and we are very proud to say that some of the scholars from previous years have opted to stay with us and join as full members.
Applications for 2026-27 are now closed. Please apply for 2027-28 from April next year.
Our Musical Director
Jamal Sutton has been our Director of Music since April 2022. He previously spent seven years at Winchester College, helping train its choirs and directing the close-harmony group Cantores Episcopi. He has performed with the King's Singers and has played at the St Endellion Easter Festival since 2011.
